MASTER JONATHAN WALSH GRADED TO 5TH DAN BLACK BELT

Grandmaster Walsh is pleased to announce that Mr Jonathan Walsh (NSW), after more than 23 years of training in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido, has been graded to 5th Dan Black Belt. Accordingly, Mr Walsh is now recognised as Master Jonathan Walsh. Click here to read Master Walsh’s profile.

Jodie vaile and jen simpson appointed as “BRANCH instructorS”

Grandmaster Walsh is pleased to announce that Ms Jodie Vaile (ACT) and Ms Jen Simpson have been appointed as Branch Instructors for Walsh Martial Arts Australia.
Ms Vaile and Ms Simpson commenced Tae Kwon Do training under Master Rodney Lee Walsh in 2006. They will be teaching jointly at the Nicholls do-jang and Ngunnawal do-jang, both of which have been newly established.

Grandmaster Walsh is pleased to announce that Ms Denise Ernst (ACT), Mr Tony Mullan (ACT) and Mr Warren Grmek (ACT) have been appointed as Branch Instructors for Walsh Martial Arts Australia.
Ms Ernst, Mr Mullan and Mr Grmek all commenced Tae Kwon Do training under Master Rodney Lee Walsh in 2005. Ms Ernst is teaching at the newly-opened Isabella Plains do-jang, Mr Mullan is teaching with Master Walsh at the newly-opened Australian Defence Force Academy do-jang and Mr Grmek will be teaching at a new Canberra do-jang (details to be announced shortly).

Grandmaster Walsh is pleased to announce that Mr Mitchell Tallar, 2nd Dan Black Belt (NSW) and Mr Patrick Dwyer (NSW) have been appointed as Branch Instructors for Walsh Martial Arts Australia.
Both Mr Tallar and Mr Dwyer commenced Tae Kwon Do training in 2002. Mr Tallar is teaching at the Attungan Do-jang and the Tamworth Do-jang. Mr Dwyer is teaching at the Port Macquarie Do-jang.

The date for the final WMAA Black Belt Seminar for 2009 has now been confirmed - Saturday, 19 December 2009. All WMAA instructors and students that are graded Cho Dan Bo or higher should attend. Ricky Young appointed as “BRANCH instructor”

Grandmaster Walsh is pleased to announce that Mr Ricky Young, 2nd Dan Black Belt (Sydney, NSW) has been appointed as a Branch Instructor for Walsh Martial Arts Australia.
Mr Young commenced Tae Kwon Do training in 2002 at the Brookvale Do-jang under Mr Jonathan Walsh, 4th Dan Black Belt (Sydney, NSW). He continues to train at the Ultimo Do-jang and is teaching classes at the Brookvale Do-jang.
